How to make Haldi milk/Turmeric Milk:
Ingredients: ½ to 1-inch piece of turmeric or ½ tsp of turmeric powder.1 glass milk.
Preparation: Its good to take kachi haldi or raw turmeric. It is easily available in winters. Boil milk and add turmeric while boiling. Now put the gas on low flame and let the milk boil with haldi. Boil it for 1-2 minutes. You can add a small piece of ginger, some peppercorns, honey, jaggery, few pods of cardamom or saffron to enhance the flavor. I prefer is plain.
Your Turmeric Milk is ready. tada.

A quick and new recipe with Haldi/turmeric milk:
Turmeric Tea recipe
Take 2 cup of milk.
1 tsp of turmeric powder,
1 tsp of honey(sugar, but if it is for diabetic you can skip it),
½ tsp of cinnamon,
pinch of black pepper and tiny bit of fresh ginger or ginger powder.
Now blend all that in a blender until smooth.
Pour the mixture into a small saucepan and heat for 4-6 minutes over low-medium heat, do not boil it.
The color of the blended mixture may worry you but when you slowly heat it then it will fade and turn into beautiful golden color.
Turmeric Milk Side effects
Anyone can regularly intake turmeric but too much turmeric may be harmful.
Pregnant women are advised not to use turmeric, too much turmeric may cause stomach ulcers, it also acts as a blood thinner or for a patient who needs surgery or had surgery may need to avoid it for some weeks and others. As excess of anything is not good. So it is best to consult your doctor before starting it if you are facing any medical issue.
