How My Kids And Parents Celebrate GrandParents Day

Celebrating Grandparents Day #LoveJatao

Everyone says that parenthood is probably the best thing that anyone can experience. I say it’s the second best. Being a grandparent is definitely the best feeling in the world. The joy on their face and the happiness that they share and enjoy is indescribable.

While we all grow up and move forward with our lives, it is these two people who always stay back and look up to us. This is one of the reasons why I always try to keep my children and my parents closely knit together.

My parents love spending time with their grandchildren, and my kids do too.

This is exactly why we never skip out on the Grandparents Day every year. While these two people who raised me and made me who I am deserve everything every day, that one day is really special for them.

That is that one day where I don’t hinder, and it is just some grandparents-grandchildren bonding time. I love setting everything up as per their plans, and it mostly is just them planning a fun day with lots of activities.

Grandparents Day for my Mom

I remember the day I told my Mom about expecting my first child, and she just froze. I was literally panicking because I didn’t know what to do right that moment.

I just shook her, and she just burst out crying because she couldn’t believe that she was going to be a grand mom. She loves both of my children with every fiber of her being, and I feel lucky that my kids can grow up with her blessings. She loves making sweets for them this day particularly.

Grandparents Day for my Dad

He glows up brighter than the lights on the Christmas tree, and I am not even exaggerating. He loves to share his little stories of adventures with the kids and even takes them out to places.

My Dad just parks the car out front, and my two monsters just rush out faster than the speed of light.

Grandparents Day for my Kids

My daughter legit wait for this day throughout the year and even put in her efforts to make it count.

She make cards for her granny and grandpa and write cute notes in them.I love that they understand the love that these two people have for them, the unconditional love.

It’s beautiful to watch the scene unfold. Every year, it’s the same, yet it’s completely different.

The most important thing that my daughter enjoy doing is taking their grandparents to school. According to her, she has the coolest Grandparents which is not a lie.

My Mum and Dad always love to keep up with the world. They are accepting and loving of every single person they come across. This is one attribute that my kids have too, and I have to thank my parents for that solely.

Every kid is blessed who grows around their grandparent.Click To Tweet

My Parents say that “the interest is dearer than the principal” whenever I say to them that they seem to love my sons more than their daughters. Enjoyed reading your account of Grand Parents Day.

My daughter is my mother in law’s best friend. They keep chatting endlessly. She grooms her to be a better human being. Grand parents are a blessing.

I share the same bond with my parents. However since both the grandparents are in different cities I usully try and make my daughter speak with them over calls or sometimes whatsapp face call 🙂

granparents are valuable and we should never forget that. I loved my grandparents and we also foster the bond between our kids and our prents and am totally proud of that.

Correctly said Minakshi, the love of grandparents is different of all of us. My kids live with their grand parents only. It is such a big support system for me. My blogging has been successful because of them only
